Katy’s Tutoring Services
Katy’s Tutoring Services is a tailored tutoring one to one service to help every child, whatever their ability, to achieve their potential.
I can offer your children aged 5 to 11 remedial support for reading, writing, spelling, grammar and maths. I can also cover other areas of the curriculum depending on the need.
My aim is to ensure that your child has the time and space to explore aspects of the Curriculum that they may have missed at school or did not understand.
I can come to your house or you can come to my house, depending on what is best for your child. I can provide sessions during the week or at the weekend. I can also support children in preparing for KS1 and KS2 SATS.
I am also able to provide tutoring for the 11 plus examination for grammar schools.
About Me
I am a qualified Primary School teacher and have taught for over 7 years in and around schools in East Sussex and Kent.
I worked in Theatre and BBC before having children and moving to East Sussex in 2001.
Before I trained as a teacher, I worked in Primary schools in all areas of school life – in the school kitchen, office, as an Individual Needs Assistant and then finally as a class Teaching Assistant in KS1 and KS2.
